Mobile App (Android) Addendum: Navatha Executive (Call Recording)
======================================================================

This addendum applies to our Navatha Executive Android mobile application (navatha). It explains how we handle microphone/audio data used for call recording features where enabled.

Last updated: 01/4/2026

Microphone Permission and Call Recording (RECORD_AUDIO)

When you use call-related features in the App, the App may request access to your device microphone using android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO. This permission is used to support call recording functionality where enabled and configured for your organization.

If microphone access is denied, call recording features may not work.

Call Recording Uploads (Two-Way: Auto or Manual)

Call recording uploads may occur in two ways:
1) Auto upload (sometimes)
2) Manual upload (sometimes)

Recordings stored in AWS S3

After upload, call recordings are stored in Amazon S3 (AWS S3) as configured for the service.

Who can access recordings (Admins can listen)

Call recordings are accessible to administrators only. Admins can listen to the recordings to review call activity and support CRM workflows. We do not provide listening access to non-admin users unless your organization’s administrator explicitly enables access through its configured permissions.

Data retention (as configured by admin)

We retain call logs and call recordings only as long as necessary for CRM functionality, security, audit/compliance, and operational needs, specifically as configured by your organization’s administrator.

Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent call recordings or your personal data. We may share call-related information only with:
– Service providers supporting our infrastructure (including AWS/S3 hosting and related operational services), under confidentiality and security obligations
– Authorized administrators within your organization (admins can listen)
– Regulatory or legal authorities when required by applicable law
